Project Description

The Art of Observation: Drawing, Writing, and Learning to See with Pat Brentano

This one-day, nature-based workshop is for everyone, artists and non-artists alike.  Artist and environmentalist Pat Brentano will guide participants through a series of activities to observe and interact with the natural world. Activities will include creating an outdoor “studio space,”  drawing, collage, creative writing, keeping a journal of the day, and taking a walk in the woods.  The goal is to increase your visual awareness, reconnect with nature, and inspire thoughtful decisions in your art, your home, workplace and the environment.  Materials are provided.

Pat Brentano’s artwork is on view in the exhibition RED, Jan 15, 2017 — Apr 30, 2017
