Hands-On Workshop and Presentation: Community Engagement and Public Art Projects with Gail Heidel

Gail Heidel’s work is on view this Summer in The Art of Construction. Join her for a collective yarn bombing project and presentation beaesd on her community engaged multidisciplinary practice as an artist, curator, educator, and arts administrator. Learn how to develop and implement community projects, initiate partnerships, and install public art works. The workshop kicks off with a short knitting demo and students may continue to knit during the lecture and Q&A. Materials provided. Open to all; recommended for artists, arts and museum administrators, curators, and teachers (ages 18 and up).
