Project Description

Beginning Color Landscape Photography Workshop with Nancy Ori

Gain insight on photographing the landscape.  This workshop covers many technical, aesthetic and expressive issues through discussion and demonstration.  The goal is to encourage growth in your color vision, composition and understanding of natural light. We will start with a discussion on color landscape photography, close-up photography, dealing with different kinds of lighting, white balance, camera controls, using a tripod, and proper metering techniques.  After the discussion, participants will apply what they’ve learned and take photos during a walk through the picturesque 46 acre property in Califon.  Many of the activities will take place outside, please dress accordingly.

Please bring cameras with instruction booklets; tripod if possible; and any camera accessories. Nancy will have a comprehensive handout for you to take home for future reference.  This workshop will be held at The Campus @ Hoffman’s Crossing Califon, NJ.  Directions provided. Transportation not provided. Pre-registration is required.
