This class will utilize subject matter from nature to review basic observation and drawing skills. Guided by in-class demos, students will learn technical approaches like cross hatching, color theory, and shading. We will take an in-depth look at forms in nature and discuss how to illustrate things like the curve of a tree, texture of a petal, or feather of a bird.
