Summer Camp After-Care
After-care is available for any camper attending 2017 Summer Camp at the Hunterdon Art Museum. After-care is directed by camp staff and volunteers. Supervised activities during after-care vary but may include free art time in ArtZone, board games, pleasure reading, and outdoor activities on our terrace (weather permitting). A daily snack will be provided.

Art from Around the World
Join us on a journey hopping from continent to continent learning about different cultures of the world through art. We will explore artistic traditions with projects including drawing, printmaking, painting, and sculpture.  Projects will not repeat in weeks 1, 3, and 9, respectively.

Get ready to improve your drawing skills!  In this camp, students will draw from observation and increase their understanding of structure and composition.  They will work with charcoal, graphite, and pastels on a variety of still life subjects, and from photographs and nature (as weather permits).

Japanese Animé & Cartooning (ages 8 – 15)

Japanese Animé & Cartooning
Study the cartooning styles of Japanese Animé and Manga. Learn how to draw Pokémon, Dragon Ball Z, Gundam Wing, Sailor Moon and all your Animé favorites, plus games, trivia, funny money.

This is a full day camp.  Enrollment in supervised lunch-time is included, a separate enrollment for lunch is not required. Please bring a nut-free snack and lunch.

Lunch with the Bunch (2017)
We offer supervised lunchtime for summer campers, Monday through Friday. Lunch With the Bunch is directed by camp staff and volunteers; activities include games and/or walks to downtown Clinton, the Red Mill Museum and other nearby destinations, weather permitting. Please bring a nut-free bag lunch.

Explore art in nature and nature in art! Have fun learning about the lives of plants, flowers, and insects by making collages, prints, paintings, and sculptures. Projects do not repeat in weeks 8 and 9.

Old Masters / New Era
This camp offers drawing, painting, and a little Art History. Learn about the old masters and create your own works of art with traditional wet and dry media including pencil, charcoal, pastels, watercolor, and acrylic paint. Line, shape, texture, value, composition, and perspective will be covered.
