Entrance and Parking

One accessible parking space for a vehicle displaying an appropriate access parking permit is located on Lower Center Street, directly beside the entrance ramp to the Museum.

Free accessible parking is also available at several Municipal parking locations near the Museum.

A wheelchair-accessible ramp leads to the Museum’s entrance, which is equipped with a power assist door.

Museum Tours and Programs

If you have a group looking for a fun outing, the Hunterdon Art Museum has just what you need! We can provide a hands-on art-making activity in our studios. We can accommodate groups of 8 adults, not including chaperones. Tours and activities can be booked on weekdays. To schedule an accessible group or individual tour, please fill out the Accessible Tour Booking Request Form. The Museum’s elevator allows access to all four levels of the building and features interior handrails and Braille lettering on the control panel.

The Museum has two fully accessible unisex restrooms on the first floor, and one on the fourth floor. Signs are high contrast and include Braille. An accessible water fountain is located on the first floor.
