The Hunterdon Art Museum is happy to offer personalized, in-depth visits to our exhibitions to meet your group’s interests and needs.

Feeling creative? We are happy to pair your group tour with an instructor-led workshop in a variety of art mediums, for an additional charge of $10 per person. The minimum number for tours is 6 paying individuals. Tour groups are limited to 35 people. Groups larger than 20 will be divided and led by more than one docent (guide).

To request a tour, please fill out our Tour Request Form. Contact Kate Mahoney, Education Coordinator, at [email protected] or call 908-735-8415 ext. 116 with any questions.

A $30 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of scheduling to hold a date.

Guided Group Tours

The museum offers docent-led (guided) tours of our current exhibitions. Tours are available for schools, camp programs, and scout and community groups. They are approximately 45 – 60 minutes and customizable for children and adults.

For groups of children under 12, we request a chaperone for every 8 kids. For ages 12-17, we request a chaperone for every 10. Additional adults attending with the group will be charged based on the fee structure below.

Tour fees include the price of admission. Hands-on art workshops may be added for an additional fee. Payment, minus deposit, is expected at the time of the tour based on the final group headcount. We can not accept individual payments for large groups.

Guided tours should be scheduled at least two weeks in advance and are offered Wednesdays-Saturdays.

To request a tour, please fill out the tour booking form.
