Animal Portraiture

Capture the beauty of wildlife or the personality of your pet! Campers will learn how to draw and paint life-like animal portraits focusing on proportions, color theory, and textures such as fur and feathers.

Students will need access to a computer, laptop, tablet or phone with a camera, microphone and internet access for using the Zoom meeting app. Materials will be provided by the Hunterdon Art Museum and can be picked up before the start of camp.

Please review the materials list below of items you will need to provide.

Materials List:

  • Pencil
  • Paper towels
  • Cup or small jar of water
  • Surface for mixing paint (waxed paper plate, plastic lid ect.)
