Project Description

Animals & Nature Mixed Media

This mixed media class will focus on animal and nature themes, while kids have fun experimenting with art. We will use a variety of materials to create different outdoor scenes from the icy arctic to the sandy desert. Students are encouraged to bring their love for animals as we discuss topics like the difference between reptiles and mammals, or how a butterfly gets its wings. Your young artist will have a blast drawing inspiration from animals around the world, and the ones we find in our own backyards.

Students will need access to a computer, laptop, tablet or phone with a camera, microphone and internet access for using the Zoom meeting app. Materials will be provided by the Hunterdon Art Museum and can be picked up before the start of camp.

Please review the materials list below of items you will need to provide.
