Build A Woodland Creature Cottage
It’s a home for a gnome, a magical hideaway for fairy friends, or a woodland creature cottage. Kids and adults work together (in pairs) to make an enchanting, small sculpture that resembles a tiny tree house. Your woodland creature cottage can serve as garden accent or a decorative memento indoors. Participants will build their tiny home by combining techniques for construction: nailing, wire wrapping, fiber staining, dyeing, and gluing. An assortment of materials will be available: tree bark, paint, feathers, fiber, paper, and clay, plus vegetation and plant materials collected on-site. Please note change in location: This program will be held at Hunterdon Art Museum, Clinton, NJ.
Please Note: Early Registration Rewards do not apply for this workshop.
