Drawing and Painting from Photographs with Margaret Fanning

Photographs have served as inspiration for artists since the early 19th century.  Learn to interpret the photograph in your own way with various painting techniques, both traditional and experimental.  Create an impressionist landscape or a realistic portrait.  This class is perfect for beginners as well as experienced painters.  Materials are provided,  just bring your own photo!

  • Age: Adults and teens, age 16 and up
  • Time: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  • 6 Wednesdays: February 12, 19, 26, March 11, 18, 25 (No class March 4)
  • Instructor: Margaret Fanning
  • Tuition: $210; Member: $190 (plus $25 materials fee)
