Project Description

Eco-Printing Workshop with Kathy Metaxas & Cristin Riccardo

Create your own scarf from nature! Kathy Metaxas and Cristin Riccardo will teach you their process for decorating a silk scarf with found objects and plant materials.  They find their eco-printing materials on nature walks and at farm stands and restaurants. Yes, farms and local restaurants give them their onion skins!  The plant matter is combined with oxidized metal objects to create one-of-kind “direct contact” wearable art.  Materials are provided.

This workshop will be held at The Campus @ Hoffman’s Crossing Califon, NJ.  Directions provided. Transportation not provided. Pre-registration is required.
