HAM Faculty Exhibition (Opens June 9)

The Hunterdon Art Museum teachers will showcase their diverse talents in oil and acrylic painting, photography, ceramics and more in our Faculty Exhibition which runs from Sunday, June 9 to September 1.

Faculty artists participating in this year’s show are: Maureen Chatfield, Margaret Fanning, Anita Genovese-Mahoney, Andrea Gianchiglia, Wendy Hallstrom, Barbara Kaiser, Steve McKenzie, Bascha Mon, Nancy Ori, Oscar Peterson, Emma Rimi, Judith Shevell, Lena Shiffman, Patrick Smith and Ann Tsubota.

Join us for the opening reception and meet many of the artists who comprise our faculty this Sunday (June 9) from 2 to 4 p.m.

“The Hunterdon Art Museum’s mission — to engage people with contemporary art, craft, and design in ways that educate, challenge, and inspire — is perhaps best exemplified by the Museum’s faculty,” said Marjorie Frankel Nathanson, our executive director. “Whether teaching a child’s first art class or a workshop to accomplished artists who wish to learn a specific technique, our faculty excels. We’re proud to highlight their work in this exhibition.”

Show Your Support

In addition to inspiring people with our classes, we spark imaginations with world-class art installed on our terrace and in our galleries. We maintain the beautiful stone mill that deepens your ties with the past and provide a gathering place for your family and friends on the Toshiko Takaezu Terrace. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation so that we may continue educating, challenging, and inspiring community through the arts.

The Hunterdon Art Museum is barrier-free and accessible to people who use wheelchairs. Patrons who are deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired may contact the Museum through the New Jersey Relay Service at (TTY) 1 (800) 852-7899. Visit our Accessibility page for complete information.

Programs are made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts; Hyde and Watson Foundation; The Large Foundation; and The Holt Foundation, along with other corporations, foundations, and individuals.
