Project Description

787 Monotype Printmaking with Stephen McKenzie

The Monotype printmaking process combines elements of printmaking, drawing, painting, and collage. Monotype offers an artist the opportunity to use various media in a spontaneous manner to create a variety of beautiful prints. Materials, image execution and printing will be covered, plus a little history of the printmaking and the artists that popularized the medium. This class is ideal for beginner and intermediate students, as much experimentation will take place as participants become familiar with the process and its possibilities.  Most materials provided.
