485 Portrait Drawing at the Artists’ Gallery with Charles David Viera

Students work from live portrait models and receive basic through advanced instruction in portrait drawing techniques. All elements of portrait drawing are examined including the importance of anatomy, shading and the subtleties required to achieve a likeness. Hands-on drawing is complemented with demonstrations, historical references, and group and individual critiques in this fun and informative class. Model fee of $15 is collected at first session.
