Project Description

Weaving Together

Please note: This class will be held virtually using Zoom. Click HERE to learn more about online learning with HAM and contact Joan Gavornik with any questions or concerns.

In this new workshop for two students will work alongside their favorite adult to create beautiful woven artwork – using paper! No loom required. Weaving can aid in development of fine motor skills, understanding of patterns and sequencing, and promotes creativity, relaxation, and bonding as young artists create a woven piece of their own with their favorite adult. Please see the materials list below so that you have what you need!

Materials:

  • Construction paper in various colors
  • Scissors
  • Poster paper/heavy paper
  • Stapler
