Summer Camp After-Care
After-care is available for any camper attending 2017 Summer Camp at the Hunterdon Art Museum. After-care is directed by camp staff and volunteers. Supervised activities during after-care vary but may include free art time in ArtZone, board games, pleasure reading, and outdoor activities on our terrace (weather permitting). A daily snack will be provided.

Lunch with the Bunch (2017)
We offer supervised lunchtime for summer campers, Monday through Friday. Lunch With the Bunch is directed by camp staff and volunteers; activities include games and/or walks to downtown Clinton, the Red Mill Museum and other nearby destinations, weather permitting. Please bring a nut-free bag lunch.

This camp covers the elements of art (color, form, line, shape, space, texture, and value) through mixed media painting and crafts.  Try techniques in drawing, watercolor, Op Art, and painting with wax.  You’ll make treasures to frame and keep forever.

Use your imagination! Make up your own characters and story and then bring it all to life through drawing, painting, sculpting, book art and photography. You’ll learn all about storytelling, page layout, design and narrated animation.

Nature’s Gallery
Discover the art and design possibilities found in nature. Experiment with painting, clay sculpting, gyotaku and sun prints, nature sketching (as weather permits) and more. Host an exhibition of your art on Friday.  Please bring a white, 100% cotton T-shirt (old or new) for tie dye!

Tie Dye & Fabric Styling
Students will learn color theory, plus dyeing and diffusing techniques to create a multitude of dyed fabrics and papers. They will experiment with different patterns and unique designs, then be wowed by the results. Please bring a white, 100% cotton T-shirt (old or new).
