Summer Camp After-Care
After-care is available for any camper attending 2017 Summer Camp at the Hunterdon Art Museum. After-care is directed by camp staff and volunteers. Supervised activities during after-care vary but may include free art time in ArtZone, board games, pleasure reading, and outdoor activities on our terrace (weather permitting). A daily snack will be provided.

Art from Around the World (ages 5–9, 10–15)

Art from Around the World
Join us on a journey hopping from continent to continent learning about different cultures of the world through art. We will explore artistic traditions with projects including drawing, printmaking, painting, and sculpture.  Projects will not repeat in weeks 1, 3, and 9, respectively.

Drawing and Painting (ages 7-10, 10–15)

Drawing and Painting
A true studio art camp for the beginning artist or someone developing their skills. Weekly projects encourage exploration of traditional wet and dry materials including pencil, charcoal, pastels, watercolor, and acrylic paint.

Japanese Animé & Cartooning (ages 8 – 15)

Japanese Animé & Cartooning
Study the cartooning styles of Japanese Animé and Manga. Learn how to draw Pokémon, Dragon Ball Z, Gundam Wing, Sailor Moon and all your Animé favorites, plus games, trivia, funny money.

This is a full day camp.  Enrollment in supervised lunch-time is included, a separate enrollment for lunch is not required. Please bring a nut-free snack and lunch.

Lunch with the Bunch (2018)
We offer supervised lunchtime for summer campers, Monday through Friday. Lunch With the Bunch is directed by camp staff and volunteers; activities include games and/or walks to downtown Clinton, the Red Mill Museum and other nearby destinations, weather permitting. Please bring a nut-free bag lunch.

Mix It Up: Paint, Clay, Fiber
Mix it up! Explore two- and three-dimensional art with paint and clay, plus soft materials such as felt and stuffing. Make a masterpiece and create your own fiber art while you learn techniques in a variety of media.

Explore art in nature and nature in art! Have fun learning about the lives of plants, flowers, and insects by making collages, prints, paintings, and sculptures. Projects do not repeat in weeks 8 and 9.

Pen & Ink Drawing (ages 11-15)

Pen & Ink Drawing
Use pen and ink to draw people, places, objects, and animals. Students will create value, texture and form through crosshatching, stippling, and shading. It is amazing what an artist can do employing only inked lines.
