Over nearly thirty years, Hunterdon Art Museum’s Young Artist Showcase has displayed the work of thousands of schoolchildren. Collaborating with thirty schools, the Museum honors art teachers and students. Each year from January into June, artwork by about 1200 children is shown in small exhibitions that rotate every two weeks. The artwork exhibited in this tour is by students at Franklin Township School, Immaculate Conception School and Lebanon Borough School.
Special thanks to the following teachers for their help with this Young Artists Showcase:
- Antoinette Stam (Immaculate Conception)
- Patrick Smith (Lebanon Borough)
- Laura Pellegrino (Franklin Township)
In addition to inspiring people with our classes, we spark imaginations with world-class art installed on our terrace and in our galleries. We offer yoga sessions where you experience serenity, we maintain the beautiful stone mill that deepens your ties with the past, and we provide a gathering place for your family and friends on the Toshiko Takaezu Terrace.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation so that we may continue being a place to connect people to contemporary art, craft, and design in ways that educate, challenge, and inspire.
