Support the arts in your community in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The Hunterdon Art Museum welcomes volunteers of all ages.

Join Us

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our Museum. We rely on them for such tasks as:

  • Helping with mailings, serving on committees, or assisting in fundraising
  • Helping with exhibition receptions
  • Tending to the museum’s garden
  • Greeting our visitors and answering phones at our reception desk
  • Leading exhibition tours for children or adults
  • assisting with exhibition installations
  • Assisting the Education Department with studio programs and administratively

If you’re interested in volunteering at the Museum, please complete this application.

To learn more about volunteering, contact Mary Ellen O’Neal via e-mail or phone (908-735-8415, x 110).

Summer HAM Helper

Because 2020 summer camps will be online, we are no longer accepting applications for HAM Helpers.

We encourage you to apply next summer and look forward to seeing you once we reopen.

If you are interested in volunteering specifically for summer camp as a HAM Helper, please complete and submit this application to Caitlin Vitalo at caitlin@hunterdonartmuseum.org. Please call the museum at (908) 735-8415 ext. 116 for more details.
